Emily Edwards-Price – Intentional Bodywork To Rest, Release And Reconnect
A holistic approach to massage therapy that invites rest, release and renewal; supporting the physical body while also tending to the energetic and emotional layers we carry.
Hi, I’m Emily, a massage therapist and movement facilitator with a holistic and ritual-inspired approach to bodywork.
I trained in remedial sports massage in 2018 and have since expanded my practice through years of study and personal exploration into trauma-informed somatics, body-mind centering, yoga, classical tantra, meditation and myofascial release. This gives me a deeply integrative approach – one that meets not just the physical body, but also the emotional and energetic dimensions of the human experience.
My treatments support healing from pain and injury, but also offer a chance to soften, reset, and meet yourself with tenderness.
My Philosophy
I believe that the body holds everything; our stress, our stories, our traumas and our truths. When we receive massage in a space of safety, presence and intention, the body can begin to unravel tension on multiple levels.
Fascia, often referred to as the “connective tissue of the soul,” is one of the primary systems I work with. It wraps around and weaves through all structures in the body – muscles, bones, nerves, organs – forming an intricate web of connection. Pain, tightness and misalignment are often rooted in distortions or stagnation within this fascial matrix.
Through therapeutic touch, myofascial release, and intuitive listening touch, I aim to bring space, flow and awareness to this internal terrain. In-so-doing, we may shift not just physical discomfort, but also the energetic patterns that underpin it.
What To Expect In A Session
Each session is unique and shaped by what you bring on the day – whether you’re recovering from injury, living with chronic pain, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or simply needing space to rest.
My approach is gentle but intentional. I’ll meet you where you are, guided by your needs, your body’s cues, and our shared conversation. Some sessions feel more like focused treatment; others may feel more like a ritual of release – a space to breathe, to be held, to unravel.
Sessions may include elements of:
Myofascial release
Breath and nervous system regulation
Energetic attunement
Conversation or silence, as needed
This is not a quick fix. It’s an honest, embodied approach to sustainable healing – one that honours the wisdom and intelligence of your own body.

Who I Work With
I work with people who want to feel more at home in their body.
Many of my clients come with muscular tension, pain or postural issues from a sedentary screen-based working like or sports like surfing or climbing. Others come with stress, burnout or emotional weight. What unites them is a desire to shift something and a readiness to listen to what their body is really saying.
My Why
Touch is a fundamental human need. It’s something we’ve lost in our fast-paced, hyper-individualised culture, but it’s one of the most direct ways we experience connection, presence, and care.
For me, massage is a practice of listening. It’s an exchange, a conversation between bodies, a co-regulation of nervous systems. It’s a way of remembering that we are not alone, that healing happens in relationship, and that softness is a strength.
I don’t “heal” my clients. I simply create the conditions in which their body can begin to heal itself.
