Specialist Care
Wendy offers much-needed specialist care for anyone experiencing pelvic health concerns whether that is from bladder or bowel leakage, constipation, or pelvic pain. She can provide help during pregnancy for people that have issues such as pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain or who wish to prepare for birth and after the birth of their baby to ensure that return to fitness to do everyday activities and sport if desired.
She is providing a new service for those folk experiencing breast cancer treatment, whether that is help with thoracic or shoulder mobility, scar management, fatigue or lymphedema prevention.
Wendy has had extensive experience musculoskeletal and rheumatology physiotherapy both in a hospital setting and in private practice. This depth of knowledge gives Wendy the ability to offer you expert care and support.
Offering relief and expert guidance
Through decades of experience working in both private and public healthcare, Wendy brings a wealth of expertise to her practice and many of the areas Wendy treats people in, are often those not spoken about, challenging to raise, and difficult to explain. It’s for this reason Wendy is so passionate about the care she offers. Working to remove the stigma, empower people through their healing and offer relief to those who feared it was a lost cause.
It is never a lost cause.

Everyone Is Unique
As well as seeing clients 1:1, Wendy also offers two mat Clinical Pilates classes a week, and a unique Balance Class to help those feel confident in their day-to-day. Using the support of chairs, or the ballet barre this class specialises in maintaining mobility and improving stability and coordination. Every class Wendy offers takes into consideration your unique needs
Wealth Of Experience
Wendy qualified from the Joint Services School of Physiotherapy in 1985 and completed an MSc in Advance Practice Physiotherapy with the University of Cumbria.
Prior to moving to Devon, she worked as clinical lead for pelvic health physiotherapy and rheumatology physiotherapy in a hospital setting. Wendy also had the honour of going back the University of Cumbria to teach musculoskeletal physiotherapy for 2 years.
Wendy was thrilled to win the ‘registered professional’ category at the Celebrating Excellence Awards at North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2009.
